Glanbia was very proud to be part of Breast Cancer Ireland’s Very Pink Run once again this year as Associate Sponsor of the event across three locations in Ireland.

The Very Pink Run took place in Dublin, Kilkenny and Cork (for the first time) and saw over 7,600 people take to the parks, roads and hills of their communities in an effort to raise much-needed funds for breast cancer research.

Pink tribes also took part from our Glanbia locations across the globe, with employees participating in 5k or 10k in their local communities in China, Singapore, Orsingen, and the USA.

Glanbia Nutritionals has acquired the bioactive ingredients business of PanTheryx, Inc. a US based health and nutrition business, for consideration of $46 million.

This business is a leading B2B, manufacturer of dairy bioactive solutions that further builds out Glanbia Nutritionals’ bioactives portfolio. The business operates from two facilities, one in Phoenix, Arizona and one in Ripon, California.

Dairy industry partnership to reduce GHG emissions on Idaho dairy farms

Glanbia has set an ambitious target to reduce the greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions associated with our dairy supply by 25% by 2030, and delivering this ambition requires a partnership approach with the dairy industry.

In 2023, Glanbia Nutritionals funded comprehensive environmental assessments for a representative set of small, medium and large dairy farms in Idaho , to develop detailed plans for greenhouse gas emissions reduction on their farms.
