Glanbia has acquired Foodarom, a Canadian-based custom flavour designer and manufacturer. Foodarom comprises a flavour library of over 15,000 recipes and produces both liquid and powder products for various applications. Founded in 2006, Foodarom is headquartered in Montreal, Quebec, with additional production facilities in Salt Lake City and Bremen, Germany and with culinary laboratories in San Diego and Milan, Italy. The business employs 130 people.
Optimum Nutrition launched a new communications platform, ‘Proven’ in April 2019. Proven reflects Optimum Nutrition’s position as a global leader in sports nutrition and uses comments and reviews from real consumers and was brought to life through a combination of over 1,200 advertising, social media, digital and merchandising assets in over 30 countries around the world.

Growing and processing quality grains has been an integral part of Glanbia Ireland since our co-operatives first began to join together in the early 1900s to create a better future for all. Grain was grown to supplement forage crops and for human consumption and that tradition has been continued by Glanbia Ireland with active support for our grain farmers, finding new partners and markets while constantly innovating to respond to the consumer demand.
Glanbia Ireland works together with its farmers at every step along the supply chain to realise energy efficiencies for the betterment of the environment and the economic sustainability of the farm.
Working in partnership with SSE Airtricity and Activ8 Solar Energies, one of our latest innovations is FarmGen, a renewable solar energy solution that combines the collective knowledge, experience and expertise of all parties to bring a turn-key solar powered energy solution to Glanbia Ireland farmers.
