Today we publish our Gender Pay Gap Report Ireland 2023. Companies in Ireland with more than 250 employees are required to report their findings on the gender pay gap in their organisation. The scope of the Glanbia report is limited to our Corporate and Business Services employees based in Ireland.

During these unprecedented times, we are staying close to our sports nutrition and lifestyle consumers. The environment in which they seek to achieve their healthy lifestyle goals as well as their consumer journey has changed dramatically in recent weeks.
Our GPN Insights Team undertakes regular quantitative research to help understand consumers’ motivations, needs and nutritional requirements in order to help steer our brand focus and start the journey to re-imagine the “new normal”.
Among our recent learnings, we made three key findings:
The COVID-19 global pandemic has interrupted lives for Optimum Nutrition consumers around the world, including personal trainers who have lost their livelihood due to gym closures and social distancing measures. With the loss of both income and community, Optimum Nutrition wanted to help personal trainers during this difficult time.
Part of Glanbia’s mission is to help build a healthier world and during the current crisis, we look to our core values to create solutions that make an impact.
To date, we’ve contributed $1.8m of our sports and lifestyle nutrition products globally to help support first responders, healthcare workers and hospitals, who are leading the fight to keep people healthy. We’re also contributing to hospitals, schools, food banks and local organisations in any way we can.
Our China operations was the first part of the Glanbia organisation to experience the challenges of COVID-19. Glanbia Nutritionals has a plant in Suzhou and contributes regularly to local organisations on the ground.
Our local team recently partnered with the Amity Foundation, to help provide virus-fighting medical equipment for Suzhou Children’s Hospital. The team looks forward to supporting this well-deserving cause again in the future.
Glanbia employs more than 900 people in Idaho and has had a presence in the state since the 1990s. With four manufacturing sites and two innovation centres, Glanbia Nutritionals is an important local employer and it’s important to us to give back to our community. Since 2003, we’ve raised US$2.5 million for a whole range of community organisations in Idaho.
