Building a diverse and inclusive culture
Our vision is that at Glanbia we celebrate individuality, knowing that together we are more. Glanbia products enrich lives daily. Equally important to us is that we enrich the lives of our internal and external stakeholders and the communities we serve.
“Respect is a core part of our values and serves as the foundation of our strong culture. It's important to me that we all do our part to foster an inclusive culture where every employee feels respected, safe, supported and where they can be their true selves.”
Together we are more
We established our global employee resource groups and updated our talent acquisition practices to ensure more diverse candidate pools and invested in inclusive leadership capability for our people. We want to ensure that our people feel they can bring their authentic selves to work. We continue to focus on improving representation across all parts of our business in 2024 and beyond.
Standing for inclusion
Maureen Gibbons, VP Leadership, Culture and DEI at Glanbia describes how we are working to foster an inclusive, equitable and diverse culture across our business. This starts with improving representation at all levels in our organisation. We’re also working to attract and retain diverse talent and we’re educating our employees through innovative programmes.
Employee Resource Groups
Our network of Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) has continued to scale and we currently have more than 1000 members across our Glanbia groups. The ERGs create connected communities of support, while helping the business better understand our diverse communities’ perspectives and concerns.
Our progress
We are proud of progress we have made in recent years as we continue to rollout our inclusion programmes and stay committed to creating an inclusive and diverse culture, as well as shaping progressive policies and practices.
Our Global Family Leave Policy is a progressive and equitable support for our people who are, or hope to be parents. Recently we’ve improved our female management participation and our inclusion index score.
