Based in business units and as cross-company category roles these procurement professionals manage the non-Dairy company spend in excess of €800 million. Purchasing Categories: Direct ingredients are generally managed by Business Unit Purchasing Teams while for categories with a cross-group usage footprint there are commodity teams or managers are in place. These include Packaging, Energy, Chemicals, Transport, Engineering, IT & Business Services.

Through this demonstration of high capability aligned to our business needs suppliers can develop their business with Glanbia while newcomers with value to add are welcomed and introduced.

Efficient Transactional Processes. Glanbia wishes to simplify, automate and make as efficient as possible our ordering-fulfilment-payment processes. This effort requires support and technology collaboration between vendors and ourselves including the use of catalogues, eTender/eSourcing tools, electronic data connections, supplier portals and more.
