Caring for the communities in which we operate is of utmost importance to us as an organisation. One of the ways we strengthen the communities we live and work in is by delivering support to health and wellbeing programmes locally.
Recently our Glanbia Nutritionals teams in Twin Falls, Idaho; St Johns, Michigan; and Clovis, New Mexico organised Charity Challenge Golf events. As a result of their efforts, Glanbia Nutritionals donated over $329,000 to local organisations, ranging from food banks, senior centres, critical services and mental health services to community resource centres.
This was the 31st Annual Charity event in Twin Falls. At both events the organisers and volunteers on the day put in a huge amount of work to ensure the events were a great success and thoroughly enjoyed by the participants. The event is highly anticipated by Glanbia customers and suppliers.
In keeping with our value of ‘Respect for People’, over the past 30 years our team in Glanbia Nutritionals has donated over $3 million dollars to non-profit organisations. We continue to take action to create a positive social and economic impact on our communities globally.
