The people fuelling better nutrition - Robbie Henderson
Robbie Henderson is Head of Talent & Partner Marketing at Glanbia Performance Nutrition, where he leads international talent strategy for Optimum Nutrition, the world’s number one sports nutrition brand.
In this dynamic role, Robbie works with a diverse network of brand ambassadors and advocates — from personal trainers to elite athletes — ensuring Optimum Nutrition is authentically represented at every stage of the consumer journey.
“I decide where and how different types of talent advocate for Optimum Nutrition along the consumer funnel,” Robbie explains. “I’m heavily involved in contracting, acquiring rights for marketing use, educating talent, and ensuring we communicate their genuine relationship with the brand as a facilitator of human performance. That can come to life across social, earned, or paid media.”
Driven by a fascination with human performance, Robbie thrives at the intersection of sponsorship, storytelling, and brand building.
“I’m intrigued by human performance and love working for a brand that allows me to bring together my skillset with a business that has been at the forefront of sports nutrition for decades.”
For Robbie, Glanbia’s culture is just as important as the work itself.
“Working at Glanbia means being surrounded by people who share a similar appetite for life and performance — that desire to go a bit further. In my world, that might be delivering a standout partnership activation or showing up for the weekly team run.”
Outside of work, Robbie and his partner embrace an active, outdoor lifestyle with their two children.
“We try to get outside as much as possible as a family. Once the kids are asleep — or before they wake — we fit in running, cycling, or home workouts. It’s a juggling act, but one that’s made possible with commitment and a shared love of movement.”
Whether building global partnerships or fitting in a run between nap times, Robbie lives Glanbia’s passion for performance — in work, in life, and at every stage in between.
