The COVID-19 global pandemic interrupted lives for Optimum Nutrition consumers around the world, as many remained under strict stay-at-home mandates in order to flatten the curve.

With these quarantine guidelines, many have been impacted by the closures of local gyms, park districts, and group sporting activities. Optimum Nutrition is helping support new home fitness efforts by partnering with athletes and trainers from around the world to publish at-home workout videos, provide educational content and share recipes that incorporate ON products.

In North America, Optimum Nutrition is partnering with a beer brand that targets young, active consumers (Michelob Ultra) for live, weekly virtual workouts classes that are donation-based with a matching contribution from ON. These donations are helping to support studio and fitness personnel who are out of work as a result of the COVID-19 crisis.

The UK has opened up their Personal Trainer Certification program for free, to encourage our consumers to gain some extra knowledge with the time they have at home. During the first week we saw over 2,000 new applicants for the programme.

Oceania is partnering with DOYOUEVEN to supply at-home workout equipment & ON products to celebrate those who are staying fit at home. And in Dubai, ON is partnering with STORM cycling to run virtual cycling classes for those staying home.

This is a small snapshot of the activities happening across the world to help ON consumers navigate these uncertain times. As our consumers adapt their fitness routines, Optimum Nutrition is the virtual coach, cheering on our loyal customers to stay fit and continue reaching their physical goals, while also staying mentally strong as well.
