Our Health & Nutrition division powers household favourites around the world with ingredient solutions and is one of three business divisions, alongside Performance Nutrition and Dairy Nutrition.
One division, two key focus areas
Health & Nutrition focuses on two core offerings - premix and flavour ingredient solutions.
Our All N® premix formulas for food, beverages and supplements cover everything from immunity, cognition and focus to energy boosting ingredients, all of which are ready to use as is, or as a starting point that can be customised for new product formulations. The team also creates custom blends from scratch to meet a customer’s specifications.
Whether liquid, dry plated powder or spray dried powder, our flavour customers are supported across every step of the journey, from flavour development and application support, to quality control and market research.
Our experience and expertise goes back more than 40 years for our Flavor Producers team and all the way back to 1942 in the case of our premix solutions.
On-demand solutions
As Glanbia continues to innovate with the solutions we supply, the premix total addressable market is steadily increasing, currently standing at over $86 billion and set to reach over $176 billion by 2034 (1). Consumer interest in nutritional information and a desire to consume healthier products is rising, driven by an overall rise in health consciousness. Our Health & Nutrition division has the expertise to meet and grow with global consumer demand for healthier, smarter nutrition.
Custom-made collaborations
The application of our solutions is only as good as the collaboration process with customers, and the best outcomes are a result of true teamwork. Mike explains that the close-knit end-to-end partnership forms a stronger relationship, along with better results for both our customers and their consumers.
“A customer will come to us, and we’ll do a bespoke nutritional profile that meets their requirements,” Mike says. “That requires our technical team to work very closely with the customer to develop a formula that works for them. Then we have great quality teams and resources to support them as they're developing their finished product.”
Our flavour solutions formulation process makes Glanbia stand out also. By mixing pre-existing flavours, using organic and natural options, and creating our own extracts and concentrates, and by combining this with market research from our insights team, we ensure we deliver category-leading insight and flavour innovation.

Our business model and technical know-how mean we’re able to help them expand with ease across the 30+ countries we operate in. As Mike says: “That's the exciting thing: we’re pretty much everywhere you look. Pretty much anything that you're consuming through grocery channels has our products in them.”
