In 2020 Glanbia made a commitment to renew our commitment to diversity and inclusion.
To ensure that all voices were heard and reflected we undertook a deep listening exercise that included focus groups and 1:1 interviews with diverse and under-represented groups, alongside a company-wide employee survey
Once we stated our intent to build a truly inclusive culture, we received a positive response to our call for participation from our leadership team and also from our wider employee community.
We invited employees interested in shaping our D&I journey to get involved directly and this led to the establishment of our Inclusion Team last year.
This team of people encompassed a diverse representation of colleagues from all parts of Glanbia’s global business. This team worked alongside our external partners to define an ambitious D&I strategy for Glanbia.
Working together, the Inclusion Team set the direction for Glanbia’s D&I journey under the following strategic pillars: leadership & education; talent acquisition; communications & engagement; inclusion & co-operation; commercial & reputation; data analytics & infrastructure.
We look forward to rolling out our plans and to making our vision a reality – at Glanbia we celebrate individuality, knowing that together we are more.
