Glanbia has been named by Forbes as one of the World’s Top Female Friendly Companies for 2021. To compile the list, Forbes teamed up with market research firm Statista to survey 85,000 women in 40 countries, as well as interviewing consumers, conducting desk research and evaluating 750,000 data points.
Female representation at leadership and board level was assessed, with Glanbia emerging as one of only 20 companies in the top 300 listing to be led by a female CEO. In addition, more than one third of our people managers are women, an increase in female representation at this level.
Our Smart Working Model also contributes to a more positive employee experience. Flexibility is frequently cited by women as a highly valued aspect of their employee experience. Our employee resource groups (ERGs) — such as Glanbia NOW, our women’s ERG; and our Multicultural and LGBTQIA+ ERGs are also in place for additional support and community.
