Glanbia is pleased to support Kilkenny County Council’s new initiative - Let’s Team Up to Clean Up - Together for Kilkenny. This new community action day aims to empower communities to keep their neighbourhoods tidy and litter free.
The action days will see community groups, schools, residents’ associations, business interest groups and sporting organisations all coming out together to litter pick their local areas on a specific day, aiming to create a lasting legacy in neighbourhoods across the county.
Over a three year cycle, different programmes and activities will be developed to complement the core objective of “Team Up to Clean Up, Together for Kilkenny” which is to uphold Kilkenny’s reputation of being litter free and to empower local communities to take action locally.
The first action day will be a pilot event, in Kilkenny City on 9th October 2022, paving the way for a larger, county wide event planned for February 2023.
