Southwest Cheese is one of the largest cheese and whey manufacturing facilities in the world. Located in the high plains of eastern New Mexico, the area is considered one of the highest quality dairy producing regions in the United States.
Using only the freshest milk supplied by our local dairy farmers, Southwest Cheese produces premium cheeses and high quality whey protein powders for our global customers. We process over 5.1 billion pounds of milk and produce over 588 million pounds of premium block cheese as well as 36.8 million pounds of highly-purified whey protein powders each year.
Our success is built on partnership – we are a Joint Venture between Select Milk Producers, Dairy Farmers of America and Glanbia. We’re also dedicated to cultivating an excellent working environment for our people and to being a good neighbour in the city of Clovis.
