Glanbia has partnered with The IDFA Foundation and other leading U.S. dairy companies and suppliers to combat hunger in Southern California, donating more than four truckloads of nutritious dairy products and $42,500 to FIND Food Bank.
The donations were announced during Dairy Forum 2026, hosted by the International Dairy Foods Association (IDFA) in Palm Desert, Calif. Dairy industry leaders also visited FIND Food Bank on Jan. 28 to thank staff for their work serving families across the region.
Since early January, 19 dairy companies including Glanbia, have shipped approximately four truckloads of fresh and shelf-stable milk, cheese, yogurt, and coffee creamers to FIND as part of the industry’s coordinated effort. In addition, nearly a dozen companies and organisations contributed $42,500 in financial support.
Wilf Costello, Chief Commercial Officer, Cheese & Marketing at Glanbia said:
“ It continues to be rewarding as we work with IDFA and Feeding America to assist and support those who face challenges meeting basic nutritional needs. Thank you to the IDFA for continuing to champion this for the dairy industry.“
Together, the food and monetary donations will enable FIND to provide more than 250,000 meals to food-insecure families across eastern Riverside and southern San Bernardino Counties. FIND serves approximately 120,000 people each month across its 10,000-square-mile service area through a network of 155 distribution sites, including 30 Community Mobile Markets, food pantries, soup kitchens, and homeless shelters.
According to the IDFA, dairy products are among the most requested items at food banks because of their incredible nutritional value. The IDFA Foundation joined 20 leading dairy companies and suppliers to bring fresh and shelf-stable milk, cheese, yogurt, and more to the 120,000 people served by FIND each month. The donation helped exceed the milestone of providing more than 1 million meals to food-insecure families.
