Glanbia awarded Silver Medal by EcoVadis
Glanbia has been awarded a Silver Medal by EcoVadis, placing the company among the top 15% of businesses assessed globally for sustainability performance, this follows the completion of a thorough evaluation of our operational sustainability practices.
EcoVadis is a globally recognised business sustainability assessment platform that evaluates companies across four key areas: environment, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. It provides benchmarking insights for business, customers and suppliers across global supply chains.
At Glanbia, sustainability is embedded across the business through our Better Nutrition, Better World sustainability strategy. As part of this approach, we work with EcoVadis to assess environmental and social risks across procurement and strengthen transparency throughout our value chain.
The Silver Medal recognition reflects the continued progress being made to strengthen sustainability management systems and supplier engagement across the business. It also highlights the collaborative work taking place across teams to support responsible and sustainable practices throughout our supply chain.
