Making people feel valued

No two days look the same for Anna Matthews—and that’s exactly what she loves about her role. 

As Manager of Engagement and Communications at Glanbia, Anna can be found drafting stories, dreaming up new campaign ideas, creating graphics, and generally supporting employees across the business.

What inspires her most is creating positive, meaningful experiences that help people feel valued. Anna is always looking for fresh ways to raise the bar and make each employee experience more impactful than the last.

“I’m motivated by the chance to make someone’s day a little better—whether through clearer communication, engaging programmes or initiatives that help people feel valued, supported, and connected. I never take the opportunity to help shape the employee experience for granted and I love the fact that I am constantly learning in my job.”

Working at Glanbia has also shaped Anna’s perspective on well-being and what it means to feel supported at work. She understands how strongly Glanbia’s values come through in day-to-day interactions.

“I appreciate how deeply our values show up in the way people work and interact every day. Being part of something with that kind of reach and shared purpose has been both empowering and personally meaningful for me”. 

Outside of work, you’ll likely find her reading, watching sitcom re-runs, or spending time with family and friends—especially when there’s an opportunity to spoil her nephews.
