The SlimFast team is excited to announce the opening of its online store, Shop.SlimFast. The site is the team’s first endeavor in direct-to-consumer sales and is part of a key initiative to offer a full-suite solution for dieters using a digital-first experience.
“After working on the SlimFast brand for six years, I have a tremendous amount of pride in guiding this 40-year-old legacy brand through a digital transformation,” says CIO Steve Sarafian. “This site is going to give us the opportunity to create more complex and personalized digital journeys for our consumers and also allow us to learn about our consumers on a completely new level.”
Shop SlimFast will be the only outlet (brick-and-mortar or digital) to carry the entire portfolio of SlimFast products. Additionally, the site will boast exclusive offers for shoppers, including starter kits, bundles and promotional items. “Nothing excites me more about this project than knowing that our consumers will be able to find everything they need for their SlimFast journey in one place,” says Dori Burrell, brand manager. “The exclusive starter kits will provide a simple solution for those just starting The Plan and our most loyal fans will finally be able to get their hands on the SlimFast swag they’ve been wanting for years. It is really going to elevate the SlimFast experience for our consumers.”
Danielle Coyle, senior graphic designer with SlimFast added: “Shop SlimFast is something I’ve wanted to see come to life for a long time, and I was thrilled to be involved with the design,”. We put a lot of thought into the consumer experience and how to optimize that through a site design that is visually engaging, but also easy to navigate.”
Next on the horizon for Shop SlimFast is integration with the SlimFast Together mobile app to create a unified digital experience. App users will be able to purchase SlimFast products without leaving the app environment, providing a seamless transition from planning and tracking meals to shopping for products.
