Digital Media Associate, Business Information Systems - UCC
I work on the Digital Media team, delivering digital excellence across more than 35 websites and apps.
My role is extremely varied. I gather and assess business requirements, review and implement technical scenarios, manage any on-going open actions and issues, implement UAT test scripts, on-going bug tracking, debugging and change request management and most importantly managing business and technical relationships within the business and off-shore teams.
Depending on the project, I also get to do some front-end web development. For example, we recently developed a nutritional site from end to end, everything from the initial idea and brainstorming, to UX, high fidelity designs, infrastructure, development, go live and maintenance, receiving top-class one-to-one training throughout the process.
When a site goes live I also manage content uploads, edits and maintenance across numerous CMS platforms, including site monitoring for downtime. I’ve recently been introduced to the more social side of Glanbia, engaging with users across multiple platforms in our Social Media Command Centre.
Glanbia is growing constantly with plenty of opportunities to enhance and broaden your skills. Our Digital Media team uses the most modern technology available and we’re constantly looking for new processes, platforms, features, and tools to aid the business. It’s a constant learning curve with a modern twist.
